Director of Academic Support and Bar Preparation

Introduction

Taylor Israel serves as Director of Academic Success and Bar Preparation and teaches full-time at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. She teaches Bar Exam Fundamentals, Learning Skills, Mastering the Performance Test, and MBE Mastery. Professor Israel also works closely with students as part of the commercial bar review support program and leads the Continuing Bar Candidate Program for bar exam re-takers.

Prior to coming to Thomas Jefferson School of Law, Professor Israel practiced in Texas in corporate litigation before returning to California to work for a major bar review preparation company. Her focus was on helping students to be successful on the California, Arizona, Hawaii, and Nevada bar exams. She then returned to her alma mater to serve as Interim Director of Academic Success and Bar Programs and as an adjunct professor. She has been with Thomas Jefferson School of Law in a full time capacity since August 2018.
